Government Engineering College of Sreekrishnapuram is a technical
educational institute established in 1999 in the Palakkad district of
Kerala. It is one among the prestigious engineering institutions
under the Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala. The college is
affiliated to the University of Calicut and follow its curriculum and
syllabi.
Our
Campus is located in Sreekrishnapuram, one of the beautiful villages
in Palakkad, which is also famous for its great traditions and
culture. The campus is around 3.5 km from the town. The lush green
vegetation is continuously swept and hugged by the gentle northern
breeze that bring the purity, serenity and atmosphere for education.

Department of Computer Science
The department of Computer
Science & Engg. has been in existence since the inception of the
institution. The department is equipped with the state of art
computing and Internet facilities. The key strength include research
and development in the areas of VLSI, Computational Linguistic, cloud
computing, computer architecture and software development, with focus
on open source technologies. The faculties and students of this
department has profound contributions in various National and
international technical conferences. The newly started M.Tech programme is designed to meet the growing demand in highly
specialized area of Computational Linguistics. The department is
enriched with enthusiastic students inspired by a team of
intellectual faculties.
